PROFESSOR FRANK B. WRIGHT
Professor Wrights’ career accomplishments include:
Professor Frank B. Wright, LLB (Leeds), LLM (Leicester), PhD (Leicester) FRSPH, FRSA is Professor of Law in the University of Warwick and an Academic Associate at Outer Temple Chambers London. He was previously Professor of Law (1991-2005) and the Director of the European Law Research Centre (1991-2005) at the University of Salford. Professor Wright is the Editor of Doing Business in Europe. He has also recently served as a Board Member for The Occcupational Health Review. Professor Wright has published over 150 papers and contributions to collected works. As a specialist in health and safety law and environmental law, he has served an expert for the Social Affairs Directorate of the European Commission and for the International Labour Organisation, Geneva. He regularly advises the British Health and Safety Executive. Professor Wright has recently given oral evidence to the House of Commons Home Affairs/Work and Pensions Joint Select Committee (October 2005) - HC 540 -111 and the House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee (January 2008) - HC 246 -11.
